Republican district convention at Brainerd elects officers and committees
The Sixth Minnesota congressional district convention met at Brainerd opera house on Tuesday afternoon. Senator W P Allen was elected temporary chairman and A N Dare secretary, with nine credentials and resolutions committees named. The credentials reported members from each county and the resolutions urged protection reciprocity and support for Harrison Blaine while pledging to carry the district for the Republican column.
