No new LEC on the table amid debt refi debate and sewer woes
County commissioners weigh a 15 million dollar plan for a new sheriff's SEC building against refinancing to save about four million over time. Officials debate funding, maintenance costs, and the impact of low interest rates, with concerns over debt and a lingering sewer odor from the current facility. A budget session is set for April 8 at the courthouse.
