New Torrens Abstract Law Attracts Attention In State
Registers of deeds discuss the Torrens abstract system set to start this fall. They plan to adopt uniform blanks and books and arrange supplies. The first registration book count will depend on how many large property owners use the law. In Chicago reports only titles to come under Torrens since its adoption there.
Popular Excursion From Brainerd To Walker
A YMCA organized trip for city churches and YMCA members departs Brainerd at 7 a.m. Saturday July 27 and returns to Brainerd at 8 30 p.m. The train will go to Walker with steamers and rowboats arranged for Leech Lake outing. Fare is one dollar round trip with lunch and refreshments available at the picnic grounds. Tickets sold at the YMCA until the day of excursion and by solicitors.
