Insurance Companies Lose Ground In Minnesota Last Year
St Paul Feb 8 Last year was discouraging for fire insurance in Minnesota as the loss ratio rose to 70 from 45 in earlier years. There were 168 companies active in the state with premiums totaling 183,492 or five thousand eight hundred twenty seven dollars more than the prior year. Losses reached 2,908,218 up 765,077 from the year before. The increase in losses compared with premiums was 769,260.

Burned History Angers Southerners in Forsyth
