An ex change claims placing a pitcher of water in a room will absorb respired gases and make the air purer within hours, while leaving the water heavily contaminated. Colder water holds more gases, with a pint of carbonic acid and several pints of ammonia absorbed at ordinary temperature. Freezing water nearly doubles capacity, rendering room water unfit for use after.
Comstock to introduce bill aiding Northern Pacific homestead settlers
