Ghastly Death Deliverance by Mrs Emma Beck
A Sunday tragedy in which Mrs Emma Beck, 44, wife of August Beck, killed herself with a razor at Seventh Street South home. She sat in a chair and severed her throat, dying swiftly. illness details suggest temporary insanity amid religious excitement. Relatives found her dead with a bloodied razor, and no inquest was held. Funeral held Tuesday conducted by Rev J A Johnson.
