Joseph Hanzeman fell from a passenger train on the Northern Pacific line at Rice Saturday night and was killed instantly. A life policy of 2000 and 75 in bank certificates were found on him. Remains were sent to St. Paul.

The Echo Quartet of Augustana College Rock Island Ill presents a concert at the Swedish Lutheran church corner of 8th and Norwood streets on Saturday evening August 29 at 8 o clock. The programme includes English and Swedish quartets duets and solos sacred and secular with ice cream served after for a small admission. Members are C A Wendell Erik Floreen J Sodergren and H N Beckman.

Creditors have six months to present claims, with examinations to be held monthly starting September 7 1891 at the Brainerd Probate Office. The mortgage declares the entire debt due, and executor of sale has authority to proceed. Mortgagors are Axel Holm and Gustafva Holm, a husband and wife.
