At Moorhead on Tuesday, the city fed 250 men who came into the city in possession of a Northern Pacific freight train.
In Eau Claire Wisconsin a man named Johnson withdrew 147 dollars from a bank and was sandbagged and robbed before reaching home. The article notes a surge of tramp infestations in the West driven by hunger and unemployment. It predicts continued public sentiment against the Democratic administration after this fall’s election.

The court found the mailed notice and proof of loss sufficient to suggest receipt but improper secondary evidence for the originals.

Two incumbents have died, Mutchler and Enochs, with a Democratic successor likely for Pennsylvania and a Republican for Ohio. More than two thirds of current members have prior congressional service.
