Rochelle Registers 93 Enrollment Decline on First Day

Rochelle registered 193 students this week as the new school year opened marking an 11 student drop from last year’s first day enrollment of 204. High school enrollees total 63: 20 freshmen 16 sophomores 22 juniors and 12 seniors. 63 high school students compare with 63 last year.

A calf roping and barbecue supper are planned for Saturday night at the Rochelle arena. Nurses Receive Diplomas at Brady Hospital Vocational Program

Six women graduated from Brady Hospital School of Vocational Nursing as Rev. T. K. Anderson praised their achievement. The ceremony at South Ward School auditorium featured remarks by the First Methodist Church pastor and presentations by hospital officials.
