Fall Showers Moisture McCulloch County in Three Rounds
Autumn rains continue in McCulloch County with three showers this week. Brady recorded 0.35 inches followed by 0.36, and a 1.81 inch Wednesday night, as stations including East Sweden and Ford Ranch reported the heaviest totals. Grand Jury Returns Eight True Bills In McCulloch County
The McCulloch County Grand Jury met Wednesday returning eight true bills seven no bills and sending five cases for further action. Elise Martinez faced two counts liquor to a minor and destruction of public property under 50 dollars with two 100 dollar fines plus 38 dollar costs each. Arthur Perez was fined 100 dollars for destruction under 50 dollars plus costs. Leroy D. Apodaca and James Clark faced burglary charges with guilty pleas and punishment deferred. Sam McCollum III served as court appointed counsel and George Day prosecuted. Other charges included willful killing of a domestic animal and theft of horses and other thefts.
