Enrollment at Brady School rose by 70 students since opening last week to 1 517. Breakdown shows High 325 Junior High 291 South Ward 445 North Ward 159 Dunbar 87 Special Education 10. C A Reynolds cited measures to ease crowding in first and sixth grade. Board actions included hiring part time janitors FE W Harris and D Green, reinvesting 15 000 in 91 day Treasuries, and purchasing 68 desks for Dunbar at about 700.

Display Lettering Classes Start at CC Office Monday

Air Crash Kills Brady Man's Son
Maj. Charles A. Pennell Jr., son of Brady resident C. A. Pennell, was among 183 killed in a C-47 crash near Anchorage Alaska Tuesday night. Pennell's wife Thelma and his mother Ella Pennell of Sweetwater survived. He had left for Sweetwater to arrange burial.
