Miss Annitta Gayle Davis and John B. Freasier were married Saturday October 2 at The First Baptist Church of Stockdale. Rev. Charlies A Young officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Davis and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Freasier. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a traditional gown.

History Of Sorosis Club Told At Meet
The Brady Sorosis Club met in Richards Memorial Library Tuesday at 7 30 p m with Mrs M R Witthelm presenting the club history. Mary Lyle Vincent was elected president of the Junior Tuesday Club, formed Nov 7 1929 by the late Mrs J A Maxwell. Only two meetings as president, then Miss Clara Wilson was named to fill the vacancy. Of 14 charter members, those still in Brady include Mrs Simpson Miss Pauline Daugherty now Mrs George Pu cell Mrs Posey Collins and Oma Willoughby now Mrs John Jones. The name changed to Sorosia Club in 1941 as a senior group. Dues rose from 1 25 to 2 when it became senior, now to 5. A scholarship has sent Brady graduates to college, and since 1948 the gel cer graduate award funded by the club supports graduates and teachers with a tea before graduation. Mrs Earl Todd Federation Counselor reported from the General Federation praising clubwomen across the Orient New Zealand and Australia joining in mutual goals for community betterment.
