All American Bobby Weise Named to 1959 Track Team
Bobby Weise, 1956 Brady Hick graduate and University of Houston senior, earns a 1959 All America track berth chosen by the National Collegiate Track Coaches Association. Despite a bad knee, he threw the discus 165 feet 6 inches for second at the NCAA meet. His 168-8 toss last May set a Missouri Valley Conference record.

A near sellout crowd is expected for the Brady versus Belton football game Friday night. Tickets are $1.50 at the gate for adults and students. Brady fans and band sit on the west side with parking on that lot. Belton visitors sit on the east. The Belton Band, The Marching Hundred, has 100 members and the pep squad 65. Power cut planned at Brady Water & Light plant
