Mr and Mrs A P Waldrep attended Sul Ross University in Alpine for graduation exercises last Wednesday and Thursday where their son in law George W Love earned his master s degree. Guests from out of town included Burt Rawlings Mrs Richard McCarty Mrs Mark Littleton Mrs George W Love Mrs Margar ite Love and Mrs Ruth Leeper. A tea for grads and guests was held at the president s home on campus. Love works for the Soil Conservation Service at Morton. Mrs Love is an elementary teacher in the Morton school system and will study at Texas Tech this summer.

Bob Archer's team captured the Brady Municipal Golf Course monthly hully gully on Sunday posting an 11 under par 60. Teammates included John Curtis Ross Ziehr and Sadie Bodenhammer. Three teams tied at 62 leading to a sudden death playoff with Delbert Wilson's squad finishing second and Ted Archer's team third. Seventeen teams entered the event.
