Mrs Clarence Rose of Fort Worth visits her parents Mr and Mrs M A Massey of Mercury while her husband, stationed at Camp LeJeune North Carolina, returns home after a two year enlistment. Mr Rose has received his discharge and is now at home in Fort Worth.
Farmers and neighbors report scattered rains across Doole Waldrip and surrounding areas last week with pastures and sudan improving. LVPA members praise moisture gains though calls persist for more rain as gales of new growth appear on ranches near Lohn and Pear Valley, with notable rainfall measured at several farms.
