Ex Brady Teacher Mrs H L Lackey Dies at 2:30 P M
Former Brady teacher and librarian Mrs H L Lackey died in a Devine nursing home. The couple moved to Brady in 1944 and taught in local schools for decades. She served as junior high math teacher and Richards Memorial Library librarian and co wrote the 42 Years Ago column for The Standard for 21 years. Survivors include daughter Mrs Wesley Ward and grandchildren.
