Final Rites Held For Mrs Broad Widow Of Brady Merchant
Funeral services were held at 10 a m Thursday at Brady Presbyterian Church for Mrs Mary Gober Broad 65 widow of a Brady merchant. Rev Marshall S Pinkerton officiated and burial was in Brady Cemetery. She was found dead at her home 1202 South Elm about noon Tuesday by sister Mrs Dick Baker of San Angelo who came to take her to Temple. The doctor said death occurred between 9 30 p m Monday and midnight. Born January 14 1894 in Burleson Texas she was formerly Mary Brooks and married to the late H L Gober in 1914. They moved to Brady in 1927 where he partnered in Stevens Gober Company furniture hardware at the old Mann building Elm and East Commerce.

Grain Harvest Nearing Peak In Local Coop Tribune
A M Jones of the Farmers and Ranchers Co op says oats and wheat harvesting should peak this week if hot clear weather holds. The crop is of good quality but oats yield is slim while wheat yields run 10 to 12 bushels per acre. Last year large bumper crops brought many trucks and trailers to town. this season grain moves more easily by pickups and a few trailers.

Water Mains to Be Flushed for Rust Saturday

Big D Jamboree Slated For Brady Jubilee Night

Street Lights Out During Switch Replacement at Plant
