Peach Jam Making Steps From A Preserving Guide
The guide outlines peach jam preparation with sugar and pectin, cooking, and setting. It instructs filling jars or containers, leaving space, cooling for 24 to 48 hours, applying paraffin, and storing uncooked jam in refrigerator for months or in freezer up to a year.
Jam Production and Storage Notes
The text advises that room temperature leads to overripe fermentation in a short time. When the container is opened the jam should be kept in the refrigerator and used within a few days.
