Brady Area Prep for Big 1912 4th of July Barbecue
Eden plans a large barbecue for July 24 with expected attendance around 3500. Prominent speakers, races, ball games, a grand dance platform, and top music are promised. Local court actions include leasing McCulloch County school lands, selling and purchasing town lots, and funding farm demonstration work. A Brady skeleton discovery hints at an ancient burial, while Pear Valley invites McCulloch residents for a Friday barbecue with speakers including T C Yantis. Additional notes cover birthday celebrations, community visits, and agricultural optimism amid dry conditions.
