90 Books Issued Daily at Library
The McCulloch County Library Board met at Richards Memorial Library for a quarterly session. Members reviewed June's 90.4 daily book loans and 75.1 quarterly average, noted a peak 135 on July 5, and announced 243 books added this quarter plus memorial volumes. Donations funded kitchen furnishings and a refrigerator fund stood at 95.79 dollars. Memorial gifts included a silver serving tray from Gold Star Mothers and a stool from Mrs. Wulff. The group discussed repairs, air conditioning costs, water conservation via a tower for reuse, and landscaping Sidney Park as a memorial to donor Mrs. Richards and to honor children’s reference books.
