G C Looney Dies Monday In Dublin
Grover Cleveland Looney 83 resident of Lohn for 15 years died at 9 p m Monday in Dublin Hospital. Services were held Wednesday in Harrell Memorial Chapel with graveside at Marion Cemetery in Lohn. He was born Oct 7 1892 in Fairy and was married to Maude Bratton in 1914. Survivors include two sons a daughter and many relatives.

Two-vehicle crash injures Parker. minnows spill on street
A mid-morning two-vehicle collision at South Bridge and 17th Streets sent Mrs. J. A. Parker to Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital with multiple injuries and her husband treated for contusions. Parker and Earl Lee Buchanan of San Angelo drove respective east and south, the trailer carrying exotic striped bass minnows spilling across the pavement as both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
