A Saturday blaze at Brady square damaged several businesses but left most records intact. Central Drug Store lost prescriptions dating back over 50 years, while Gartman Appliance and Butane kept files in a toppled safe. The Toggery’s records survived nearly untouched, with only minor water in the safe. Store owners plan repairs and, for prescriptions, rely on doctors and local pharmacists to refill.
