Mrs. Nettie Ethel Moore 81 of San Antonio died at Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Graveside services were held in Gatesville's Restland Cemetery with Rev. Lamar Leifeste officiating. Born March 26 1894 in Boaz she lived in San Antonio 25 years and was a housewife and Methodist. Survivors include son Walter Travis Moore of Brady sister Mrs W E Whitten of San Antonio brothers Ralph and Jerome Sutherland of San Antonio two grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Mrs. Rena I. Barsch, 67, of Brady, died about noon Wednesday at home after a sudden illness. Services were held Thursday at Wilkerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Ash officiating. Burial was in Lohn Cemetery. Born March 18, 1908 in Gillespie County, she lived in McCulloch County most of her life and Brady since 1957. she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, a son, six sisters, a brother, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Corpus Christi Student Injured In Highway Mishap
A Texas Tech student from Corpus Christi, Mark Rasmussen, 20, was treated and released at Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital after a traffic accident 11 miles north of Brady on U S Highway 283. His father Robert Rasmussen lost control as their Oldsmobile towed by a Bronco overturned. the elder Rasmussen and another rear passenger were uninjured. The incident was investigated by Patrolman Larry Sawyer.
