The regular annual meeting of the shareholders of the Commercial National Bank of Brady will be held at the banking house in Brady Texas on January 12 1954 at 9 00 a m for electing a Board of Directors for the ensuing year and for other business legally brought before the meeting.

Kerrville hosts a launch for Trans-Texas Airways as the town gains its first regular air passenger and mail service. Officials from Houston San Antonio Fort Worth and Dallas attended along with local civic leaders. A luncheon square dance and band music highlighted the celebration at Schreiner Field with Earl McKaughan Sr Rep C C Fisher and others speaking. Kerrville now sits two hours from Fort Worth and Dallas two and a half hours from Houston and 25 minutes from San Antonio.
