Measurements across the county ranged from 4 to 12 inches with official reports near 10 inches, coating roads, roofs, and trees while melting slowly to moisture for spring. Schools reopened Thursday as the storm boosted moisture for grain fields and winter crops, with officials noting no runoff impact and a slow warming trend ahead.
