New Pilot Programs Underway At Loadcraft
Loadcraft, a division of Allied Products, begins two pilot manufacturing programs under general manager Neal Self. An experimental order of 50 piggy back vans is being built for Cargo Systems of Springfield Ohio with about 25 completed at roughly one per day. Production uses a single shift while methods are studied.

In mid October the Brady Stamp and Commerce Association redeemed its 200000th Brady Stamp dollar. Formed in 1960 by the Brady Chamber of Commerce to boost local trade, it has contributed over 6000 to county causes while facing IRS limits on non profit contributions and continuing to advertise local merchants.

Mrs. Chambers Former Bradyite Dies in Harlingen
Sara Alice Chambers 92 of Harlingen and former Brady resident died Sunday after a long illness in Harlingen Hospital. Burial was at Live Oak Cemetery after funeral in Wilkerson Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Ray Ash. Survivors include two sons Col. Chester Chambers and J B Chambers Jr. two sisters Elizabeth Christopherson and Ollie Orlop. six grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

The Melvin Board approved the annual audit submitted by Henry D. Col yer. Supt. Floyd Marshall can attend the Mid Winter Conference in Austin in January. They will seek Texas Small Schools Association membership for 1970 71 and allow teachers a day to visit nearby schools to compare methods. A letter from Property Evaluators was tabled. Duke Bryson Dies at 62 in Uvalde
Duke Bryson 62 of Uvalde died Wednesday morning at his home after a heart attack. Funeral at 10 am Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Born January 10 1907 in Sonora he moved to Uvalde in 1928 and ranching most of his life. He served as corporation judge at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife.
