Several Routes To San Marcos
Brady fans may choose routes to San Marcos on Friday night. Six miles of Highway 281 near Johnson City are under construction with traffic routed through the work. Fans can detour via Fredericksburg by Stonewall Farm Road 1623 to Blanco then San Marcos. Some Brady fans will go to Austin then to San Marcos for a better highway.

Edith Margaret Lehmann 60, Brady music teacher and church organist, died at Brady Hospital. Born May 4, 1901 in Burleson Johnson County, she lived in Brady since 1923 marriage to Hugo Lehmann who died in 1949. She taught piano, directed church music, lived at 1202 North Grant. Funeral Friday at First Baptist Church. burial at Rest Haven Cemetery.
