Five men were inducted by the local board on November 11 including Ben Ray Lovelace Samuel Brown and Brady Hernandez Eden James Deeds Lionel Davis and others. Twenty men were ordered for examination and seven transferred to other boards. Five more inductions and 25 examinations were noted for Sept 6 with all registrants urged to keep files current.

Grand Jury Returns Eight Indictments Tuesday
The grand jury returned eight indictments Tuesday. Bobby Roberts faces two forgery and passing charges and jail breaking with a $1,000 bond. Lonnie Lee Teague is indicted for jail breaking with a $5,000 bond. Bill Bennett faces theft over $59. Forgery and passing indictments are also returned against Lynn Stockman Domingo Cantu and Paul Muniz with bonds of $2,000 $1,000 and $1,000 respectively. One forgery and passing indictment names withheld pending arrest.
