Emergency Plan Rejected by USDA State Committee
The County USDA Disaster Committee failed to win approval for a season haying grazing and livestock feed program as the USDA State Committee found no justification statewide at this time. Despite dryness and grazed pastures the state noted wood growth of spring grass and reasonably good feed crops with partial failures in small areas. The state will monitor conditions and a new winter application may be prepared if drought persists.
