Brady High students and athletes head to regional UIL meet
Brady High School sent teams and individuals to the regional UIL events in Lubbock. Golf, one act play Night Must Fall, district award winners, and multiple track qualifiers accompanied by Coach Paul Hutching ton and Coach Del Wilson. Key performers include Susan Jones Gaylen Young Danny McNatt Royce Mayfield Willie Jones and Craig Dodds with season bests in jumps sprints hurdles and relays. The group departed Thursday for Texas Tech University to compete in regional events.

Seven year old Gina Foster Dies of Injuries
Gina Rose Foster seven year old daughter of Mr and Mrs James Estes died Wednesday afternoon in Shannon Hospital San Angelo from injuries in a two vehicle crash last Saturday. Funeral services are pending at Wilkerson Funeral Home. She had head injuries and multiple fractures after the accident just inside San Angelo city limits on US 87 South involving a car driven by her uncle.

Pilot Kindergarten Program To Start Here August 24
Brady Schools will launch a model kindergarten for the 1970 71 school year under state and regional guidance. Eligibility targets five year olds with special language or low income needs, with voluntary attendance and a grant funded setup. Mrs Simpson will teach and begin home census visits to enroll eligible children.
