Brady City Council Raises Green Fees at Municipal Course
Brady Municipal Golf Course rates rise effective May 1 with daily fees at 2 dollars and weekend rates at 2.50 dollars. Ladies pay 6.50 monthly or the standard daily and weekend rates. men 12.50 monthly. Annual caps set at 75 dollars for men and 60 for ladies. Cart stall rents become 42 dollars yearly. Brady school golfers may play free during school months or while team is contending. Offshore adults pay regular rates. after school summer play costs 5 dollars monthly or 1 dollar daily. Officials discussed facility upgrades costing about 8500 dollars with a 500 dollar yearly pledge until paid, no action.

Beginner Junior Bands Spring Concert at Brady High
The Brady Beginner and Junior bands present their Spring Concert on Tuesday April 27 at 8 p m in the BHS Auditorium. A junior high and juniors track meet was held Thursday at Rochelle for 16 District 12-B schools. Results were not available as The Standard went to press. The Rochelle superintendent defined a junior as a boy not yet 15 before school starts, usually a freshman.
