L. G. Tucker 86 Dies in Killeen After Short Illness
L G Tucker of Route 1 Killeen dies at 1 30 p m in a Killeen hospital after a brief illness. He was born August 12 1881 in Florence and lived most of his life in Williamson County. His wife died March 7 they had celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary June 21 this year. Survivors include seven sons and five daughters with 27 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Funeral was at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Andice with burial in Florence Cemetery. The Rev Taylor of Killeen and the Rev Robert E Graham of Brady conducted services.

Lohn Couple Hospitalized in One-Vehicle Crash
Mr and Mrs Paul Hernandez of Lohn were seriously injured in a Sunday night crash one mile east of Pear Valley. The pickup ran off the road, struck a post and a windmill, throwing them from the vehicle. Both were admitted to Brady Hospital with chest and facial injuries.
