In Liberty and nearby Schivare, an airyman named Arnold Schwarb has installed a radio in his cow Jot and tunes in while milking. He recalls developing the habit of milking to music during years he spent in Switzerland, where accordion players gathered and performed nearby.
The Kiwanis club of Springfield sponsors Troop 12 open to city boys over 12. Life saving and first aid classes, plus other scout activities, will begin immediately for this new unit.

Word from Bradenton states the mother of Dr B G Arnold of Bradenton died in Tallapoosa Georgia after a lingering illness. Dr Arnold who is president of Bradenton Hardware Co was at her bedside when she passed Friday morning. Mrs Arnold and daughter left Bradenton yesterday to join him.
