Woman chooses home making over medical career
Mrs. McCauley of Beaver Pennsylvania recounts 20 years as a homemaker and community leader after delaying her medical career following marriage. She emphasizes balancing family and public service, founding a kindergarten, directing schools, and holding roles with the Pennsylvania League of Women Voters and Republican committees while her husband and daughter remain in Beaver. She notes no resentment for her path and urges women to pursue outside interests alongside family duties.
