Gasoline tax receipts totaled 953 thousand in March
The Florida controller’s office reports March gasolene tax collections of 953 766.80 dollars with four cents per gallon for good roads. One quarter goes to counties and three quarters to the State Road Department for highway improvements. Dade led in county gasoline use with 3 591 718 gallons. Hillsborough, Duval, and Pinellas followed. Dade also led in kerosene use while Duval topped signal oil consumption.
