Polio vaccination drive targets 80 percent in Montague County
Ted Daley of the Sabin Oral Vaccine program urges 80 percent uptake to wipe out Type I polio in Montague County. The Sunday vaccination will run 1 to 4 PM in Bowie high school gym and in Nocona and Saint Jo. Bowie High Band Wins at Henrietta Parade Again
Bowie High School Band captured first prize of 100 dollars at the Clay County Pioneer Association Parade in Henrietta after about ten bands competed. Judge James Jacobson praised the band’s sound and carriage, with Janet Young as drum major and Robbie Landers among the majorettes.
