Local Notes on Rural Letter Carriers and Lions Club Changes
The Seventeenth District Rural Lettercarriers meeting in Stephenville drew Mr and Mrs Royce Flowers and Mr and Mrs J D McElhaney as locals. Retirement of J S Sharp from Southwest Stone Crusher marks four decades of service and community involvement. Lions Club officers assume new roles including Mathisen as president and Largent as first vice president, with meetings at Ravens Cate.
