Christian Science Board Directors Declare Global Spiritual Shift
The Christian Science Board of Directors declared on June 6 at The Mother Church in Boston that postwar society seeks a spiritual basis for world unity. They noted more attention to thought in disease, recognition of matter’s insubstantiality by natural scientists, and leaders urging deeper evidences of spiritual power. They reported Miss Emma C. Shipman’s election as President and growth of Christian Science worldwide, saying Mary Baker Eddy would see the signs of her aims in science theology and medicine.
