FHA Loans 50 000 For Forestburg Water Project
The Forestburg Water Supply Corporation received a 50000 loan from the Farmers Home Administration to support a community water system for 52 families. Senator Ralph Yarborough relayed that First National Bank of Saint Jo provides the funds, insured by the FHA. Service start was announced previously.

Longhorn Completes Dual Producer Well in Montague County
Longhorn Production Co of Dallas completes No. 2 O P Hamilton as a dual producer in Montague County Eanes Field five miles southwest of Bowie on the W Marlett survey A-547. The well flowed 165 barrels of 41.2 gravity oil daily through 20 44 inch choke at 620 pounds casing pressure and 300 pounds tubing, with a 1620 1 gas oil ratio. A 24 hour test through 20 64 inch choke produced 251.67 barrels of 41.9 gravity crude at 5800 80 feet with 1480 1 gas oil ratio. Both pay zones were fractured and production string set at 5865 feet.
