Fishing antics and local tournament notes on Johnson Lake
Don Crow and his daughter Jeana fish at Johnson Lake where a six pound bass swallowed a catfish, prompting a quick rescue. The Top O' The Lake tournament opens with a local band, mentions golfers led by John Dix with an eagle and birdie on Number Nine, and notes improvements to the Travel-In Cafe parking lot. June swimming lessons start on the 14th, and a reader sends reflections on grade records and farm price laws with Rep. Graham Purcell’s explainer.
