Highway 59 Contract Let for Bowie to Jacksboro Seven Miles
At the State Highway Commission meeting in Austin on January 15 bids were opened and a contract awarded to Wallace and Bowden of Dallas for 122,881 to construct and pave seven miles of the new Texas Highway 59 from Bowie southwest toward Newport and Jacksboro.
