Indian Singer to Appear in Concert in Hollywood
Hall marks the third Hollywood Art Series event with Cleo Allen Hibbs a noted composer pianist and tenor joining Indian mezzo-soprano Ho-fe-Ma-We on February 15 at the MacDowell Club venue. Hibbs a prolific writer to Etude and school teaching pieces recently saw his Western Suite win second prize and be performed by the San Diego Symphony. The Languna Art Festival in California has long engaged him as music director. On March 10 Joseph Piastro the renowned violinist headlines the fourth concert in the Art Series.

Perry E Moore Bowing Citizen Pioneer Dies at 89
Perry E Moore 89 died at his son Jerry D Moores Bowie home after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at Burgess Funeral Chapel and his body was sent to St Marys West Virginia for burial alongside remaining services. He was born February 27 1849 in Mannington West Virginia and lived with his son in Bowie the last eight years. Survivors include daughter Mrs Mary Belle Locke two sons William Moore and Jerry D Moore and many grandchildren.
