Montague County car tags began sales on Wednesday February 1 with a quota of 6590 passenger tags. Prefix EA 8100 to EA 9999 and EB 10 to EB 4699 cover passenger tags, along with quotas for 1300 commercial trucks 1250 farm trucks 125 truck trailers 25 motorcycles and 55 dealer tags. Trailers over 4000 pounds gross weight require a serial number and new highway rules since December 1 demand serial numbers before tags.
