FBI Agent Gemberling Speaks at Kiwanis Meeting
F B I Special Agent Robert P. Gemberling of the Dallas office discussed FBI recruiting efforts during a Kiwanis Club talk. He described starting as an eighteen year old clerk, serving in the USMC after World War II, earning an accounting degree, and becoming an agent in 1950 stationed in Dallas since 1956. He was special coordinator in the Kennedy assassination investigation and declined a Washington promotion to stay in Dallas.
