Peanut Growers Attack Changes in Price Support
Macon Ga based National Peanut Growers Group representing 90000 farmers in fifteen states denounces Nixon administration changes to peanut price support as totally disastrous. The group opposes legislation to place peanuts under target price plans and objects to six new regulatory changes for 1974. Reynolds, chair, Georgia Farm Bureau president, signs the letter to Secretary Earl Butz, urging department direction before further refinements.
