Bowie High Majorettes Attend TCU Twirling Camp
The Bowie High School Band majorettes joined the TCU Twirling Camp in Fort Worth last week. Members included Janyth Kunkel Judy Goodwin Mary Ann Roberson Linda Burks Penny Gibbins and Mary Campbell with drum major Nan a Stine and alternate Helen Welch. Camp staff praised the instruction as among the best in the state and the group prepared to perform with the band at the Jackrabbit football games this fall.
