In Selma cemetery the remains of Jesse Dunn were buried July 27 after he died July 26 in Bowie following a long illness. Dunn, 61, was among Bowie's first settlers arriving 55 years ago with his family who built the first home and ran the first store near the old Greeson Gin. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, six grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, and many relatives. S F Jr and Helen Owen of Sunset had a tonsillectomy Tuesday. Mrs R D Dunham had her tonsils removed at the Hospital Wednesday. Mrs J In Fraley of Saint Jo sued the Hospital Tuesday for treatment of an infected hand.
Mrs. L. D. Carson of King City California hosted a birthday party for friends with attendees aged over 88. Mrs. Carson herself is 88.
