Bowie Boy Becomes Corporal Hargrove in Army Signals
Earl Hargrove left Bowie on November 18 last year and joined the U S Army Signal Corps. He is now a corporal at Camp Crowder Missouri studying radio mechanics and hopes to rejoin his Utah regiment. A 1942 Bowie High School graduate, he coached the Junior Cottontail team to an undefeated season and helped win the Bi district championship in 1940. He is the son of Carl Hargrove, and his wife is Louise Lassiter, a Bowie High School graduate.
