Roy Doughty D Bennett and Watt Self recovered a trunk baby buggy high chair gas stove bed springs and more. James Logan Holman age 78 died July 18 at his daughter's home in Fort Worth after living in Bowie thirty years He married Sarah Lynch in Wise County and they had three children Fort Lee Lewis J and Martha M His wife died in 1921 Forest Lee died in 1918 He was a Church of Christ member for about 40 years and is survived by a son Lewis J of Bowie and a daughter Mrs John Tillery of Fort Worth.

Fort Worth Man Killed By Train Near Stoneburg
Roy S Johnson a 35 year old Fort Worth relief worker was found dead on Rock Island tracks near Stoneburg early Tuesday. His mangled body was taken to a Bowie undertaking establishment for burial preparations. Identification from a relief worker card dated July 19 1935 named him case worker No 56 670 of the Fort Worth division. The body was found about 3 am and authorities believe he was struck by a train that passed through Stoneburg shortly before.

Three Injured In Lone Star Shooting Affray Near Bowie
A shooting affray near Bowie injures three people five miles southeast of the city late Saturday night. Mrs. Fred Moore, 19, is in Bowie Clinic Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Her husband is hospitalized with minor head injuries. Bob Rapers, 32, was shot in the right leg. Jesse Rapers, 19, is also detained. Authorities hold the elder Rapers and assess the incident as a possible accident during a fight.
