Beecher Explores Evolution and Divine Truth in Sermon
In New York Rev. Henry Ward Beecher preached on Isaiah and the interplay of science and faith, arguing that God’s word guides humanity through evolution and history. He warned that moral truths emerge from long processes, not instant proofs, urging parents to raise children in Christ while acknowledging science reshapes biblical inspiration.
